About Lulu

LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR associate & Art Therapist

Lulu is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist with specialized certification in trauma therapy. She collaborates with each client to create a therapeutic space that is safe, non-judgmental, and creative. As an intersectional feminist, Lulu uses a narrative approach to critically examine the roles that oppressive systems and institutions have in perpetuating mental illnesses.

Lulu believes that when we engage in healing individually and within a community, we move toward social justice and liberation. She has extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, trans and gender-nonconforming individuals, and those navigating multigenerational trauma. Additionally, Lulu is versed in working with neurodivergent populations, including individuals with ADHD and Autism, bringing an attuned and compassionate approach to their unique needs. With a passion for using fiber arts as therapeutic tools, Lulu supports clients with warmth, creativity, and somatic attunement, helping them through challenging and painful moments.

I welcome all who are looking for help navigating trauma (past and present), experiencing low self-perception/identity, have had complex challenges and hardships in their life, and are looking for a safe space to explore how these experiences have been carried to the present. Individuals who are neurodivergent (or suspect they are), LGBTQIA+, trans or gender-nonconforming, holders of multigenerational trauma, and/or have chronic illnesses or disabilities will find unwavering support from me in your corner. I help individuals establish and work towards their own goals, meaning, and definition of progress.

I am registered and trained Art Therapist, with an additional certification in Trauma Therapy. Creating art deepens the therapeutic experience for many, and you do not need to be "an artist" to benefit. I navigate this work with an intersectional feminist lens, and a narrative approach to explore how oppressive systems impact mental health.

A courageous journey has already happened to bring you to this point of seeking help through therapy. I promise to support clients with warmth, creativity, and somatic attunement through challenging and painful moments. Reach out to start your journey toward healing and liberation.
