Michell Brockman holds a Licensed Mental Health Counselor License in Washington. She is a trauma-informed therapist who enjoys using EMDR, parts work and somatic body-focused therapies in her work to help you find healing and empowerment.
She is especially passionate in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse and those with PTSD. Through her work she will collaborate with you at your pace to help you build the tools to reprocess traumatic memories, regulate your emotions and find relief from distress.
She is also passionate about supporting those in neurodiverse relationships learn skill-based tools to find a deeper connection with their partner(s) and navigate their neurodivergent and neurotypical differences.
Michell deeply understands anxiety, rumination and how overwhelming and distressing intrusive thoughts can be. She offers a safe and nonjudgmental place to navigate through these thoughts and feelings and develop effective strategies to manage and reduce their impact on your life.
She will use a customized approach to help you meet your goals, and she likes to check in consistently to ensure you are working on what feels most helpful. She uses her sense of humor, compassion, and authenticity to create a space to help you find peace and fulfillment. She is here to support you on your journey.
